The ophthalmology department's newborn eye-scanning equipment needed to send results to hospital systems, keep its images, and give specialists a report to review.
What we did
- Built an HL7 integration between the eye-scanning equipment and hospital systems.
- Set up an archival data store for the DICOM images.
- Automated a PDF report that brings the images together for specialist review.
